Charism



We strongly believe that the gift of the Spirit to the Church and to the world through our Congregation is Compassion, which was manifested in the life of Jesus Christ.   • To suffer with those in sufferings

  • To unite oneself with them in their struggles in life.

  • To work for their liberation in solidarity.

When we receive the Charism and Personalize it, it is manifested in our life as a specific qualities. These qualities determine the essence of the culture of our Congregation and therefore called the spirit of our Congregation. These are


I. Modeling ourselves on the beautiful image of Mary


The beautiful image of Mary entails

  • Intimacy with God

  • Total commitment to fulfill the saving will of God

  • alous involvement in the growth of the Church

  • passionate involvement with the suffering and oppressed

  • Hard work done in humility

II. The attitude that suffering is essential for growth and liberation


III. Manifesting in us the power of resurrection


IV. Dialogic community united in sisterly friendship


Receiving Compassion from the Spirit of Christ as the specific gift to the Congregation, keeping this gift dynamic and visible in our life and allowing it to be manifested as spirit, we evolve a culture and spirituality which is specific to the congregation. It is the primary duty of each one of us in the Congregation to evolve this culture and spirituality in our life.
